Hi, I’m Ryan — a first-generation immigrant with a passion for creative problem-solving. I studied Information Systems at the University of Delaware with the intention of becoming a software engineer. But along the way, I discovered UX design — and it completely shifted my path. I was drawn in by its blend of empathy, strategy, and visual storytelling, and I’ve never looked back. Today, I channel that same energy and curiosity into designing intuitive, human-centered experiences that make a real difference.
Outside of design, I’m a huge fan of video editing and gaming — both of which feed into my love for immersive, engaging visuals. When I’m not at my desk, you’ll usually find me spending time with my dog, Kodak, a spirited miniature American bulldog who keeps me grounded and entertained. Whether I’m crafting interfaces or walking Kodak through the neighborhood, I approach every moment with creativity and intention.
Who am I?

My journey into UX design began with a love for technology that started at a young age — sparked by video games and the immersive worlds they offered. That passion naturally led me to pursue a degree in Information Systems, where I explored the more technical side of building digital products. But as I dug deeper into coding, I realized something was missing: a creative outlet. I’ve always been an artist at heart, even if I never had the traditional gift for drawing or painting. When I discovered UX design, it felt like everything clicked — a space where technology and creativity meet to solve real, human problems.
UX design gave me a new kind of artistic expression — one that goes beyond visuals to focus on impact. I’m not just here to make interfaces look good; I’m here to make them work better. It’s about designing experiences that are thoughtful, intuitive, and meaningful. For me, UX is where logic meets empathy, and it’s the perfect way to blend my technical background with my creative drive to help others in ways that truly matter.
So why UX?
